3. Strut the streets at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade (March 12th, 2023)

Join the Friendly Daughters of Saint Patrick of Maryland at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, held conveniently in Baltimore’s Downtown District. The whole city shows pride for the change of season, celebrating the life, history and significance of Saint Patrick to the Irish and Irish-American people. Held since the mid-1960s, this parade is one of the largest and most well-attended community events, promising great times with even better people. Thousands of participants band together to march down the sidewalk in pride and reverence for the history and joy yet to come, thanks to the contributions of Maryland’s Irish heritage. There is no cost to attend. Many community members meet near the Washington Monument well ahead of the parade’s start time of 2 pm to secure the best seats along the route. We suggest you do the same! The parade route extends through Charles and Pratt street, ending near Market Place and the Inner Harbor area, allowing you plenty of room to see the hundreds of businesses and community service organizations’ floats and experiences. We’re sure this will be one of the best possible ways to close out your St. Patty’s Day!
